Situated near the Tower of Socoa, the restaurant la Marine has a terrace exposed to the sun which offers a panoramic sight on the bay of Saint Jean de Luz.

The Vauban Tower, the Harbour of Socoa, the Bay, the sailing dinghies parking, from our terrace. 

The Tower of Socoa, called Vauban Tower, dates the XIIth century. It appears as a big circular tower of medieval look. The breakwater, built in the end of the XVIIth century, was decided by Vauban.

Endowed with a labourdine room which can welcome groups going to 100 place settings, it also offers you the possibility of eating terrace, and so of sharing to your dinner guests of one of the most beautiful frames of the Basque Coast, with sight on the sea.

Surprising in many respects, this restaurant, the magnificent room of which quite in length shows magnificent half-timberings heightened by tiles, by eves beams, old benches, a big sculptured bar, deserves the detour.
In kitchen we prepare specialities of the region: louvine, Spanish manner Hake Steak, Squids, with very beautiful discoveries such as the ttoro , the seafoods paella or the cataplane , parilladas of fishes or shellfishes, complete dishes which demonstrate the know-how of the Chef and its attachment to the soil.
And naturally,a procession of seafoods waits for you there, for your biggest pleasure, that will serve you a nice, dynamic family team and always to the thoughtful service of the Clientele.

About the flu A and Seafoods...

Do you know that according to nutritionists Doctors, to strengthen its immune system against the flu A ( H1N1), a zinc contribution in the body is beneficial?
